2. Why does my lead-acid forklift battery weigh over 1.8 tons?
A single battery seems too heavy, right? That’s because your original lead-acid electric forklift battery includes a built-in counterweight.
- The real battery part usually weighs about 500-600 kg.
For example, our 80V 690Ah forklift lithium battery weighs only about 400 kg.
To match your original 1.8-ton lead-acid battery, we add counterweight blocks so the total weight remains the same, ensuring forklift safety and balance.
3. Can I replace my 80V 690Ah 1,958 kg lead-acid battery with your 80V 690Ah forklift lithium battery (around 600kg) and continue using the old counterweight?
We do not recommend this option:

The counterweight iron blocks are welded securely to the bottom of the battery case, fully fixed and stable. They will not shift or cause vibration during forklift operation.
