EGbatt Guide · OEM / ODM

Want your name on a LiFePO4 pack without building a factory? This is the EGbatt OEM/ODM process end to end — what we need from you, what we own, and how a prototype becomes a container at your dock.

OEM vs ODM — pick your involvement

OEM: you supply the spec or design; we manufacture, test and brand it. ODM: we design the pack to your use-case and build it under your brand. Most distributors start ODM and move to OEM as volumes and specs mature. Either way the cells, BMS and certification are ours to guarantee.

Step 1 — Inquiry and requirements

Send load profile, nominal voltage, target capacity, envelope (size and weight), target market and estimated annual volume. A one-page spec sheet is enough to start; we return a feasibility note and a rough BOM within days. The sizing method we use is the same one we hand you.

Step 2 — Cell and BMS selection

We select Grade-A prismatic or cylindrical LiFePO4 cells and pair them with a BMS matched to your current and communication needs (CAN, RS485 or UART; active or passive balancing). How the BMS protects and balances is what keeps the pack safe through its warranty.

Step 3 — Mechanical and enclosure design

Our engineers lay out busbars, thermal path, connectors and enclosure (IP rating, wall-mount, rack or portable) around your envelope. We model thermal and mechanical stress before cutting metal, then release drawings for your sign-off.

Step 4 — Prototyping and validation

A small prototype batch is built and put through cycle, thermal, drop and short-circuit tests against your spec. You get the test report and a sample to qualify in your own application before we tool up.

Step 5 — Certification and compliance

We handle UN38.3, CE, IEC 62619 / 62133 and market-specific marks, plus MSDS and transport docs. How we pack and ship certified cells so your customs broker has what they need.

Step 6 — Mass production and global delivery

On sign-off we run automated lines with full traceability, 100% inspection and your branding and packaging. Sea or air to 80 plus markets, with documentation and local compliance support to the dock.
