An RV house bank lives a hard life of vibration and deep cycling — EGbatt builds LiFePO4 drop-ins that are lighter, deeper and longer-lived than the AGM it replaces.
Overview
EGbatt RV batteries are 12V or 24V LiFePO4 drop-ins with an integrated BMS, built for the vibration, depth of discharge and space limits of a motorhome. They replace AGM/GEL at a quarter of the weight and 3–5× the cycle life, with 80–90% usable DoD so you get more overnight power from the same footprint. The install caveat is the charging side: the converter, DC-DC and solar controller need a LiFePO4 profile, and we spec that with the battery so the system is right end to end.

How to specify & buying guide
- Set the converter/DC-DC/solar to a LiFePO4 profile — lead-acid charging damages the bank.
- Size Ah from overnight load ÷ 12.8V at 80–90% DoD.
- Keep cable/fuse ratings for the higher LiFePO4 current.
- For cold climates, ask about low-temperature or self-heating cells.

Portable and specialty packs are built for shock, dust and temperature swing. We select cells and BMS for high-discharge and fast-recharge profiles, seal the enclosure to the right IP rating, and validate the pack through drop, vibration and thermal cycling.
Certifications & compliance
- UN38.3 — Mandatory lithium battery transport test (altitude, thermal, vibration, shock, external short). Required for any cross-border shipment.
- IEC62619 — International safety standard for industrial Li-ion cells and batteries; expected by EU and most APAC buyers.
- CE — EU declaration of conformity for the applicable directives.
- RoHS — Restriction of hazardous substances in the battery and BMS.
- IP65 — Dust-tight and low-pressure water-jet resistant — suitable for outdoor enclosures.
