How a CMX Battery Is Manufactured: 7 Controlled Steps
Every pack that leaves the Tangxia plant passes through seven controlled stages, from incoming material inspection to transport documentation. Visitors on a factory tour see these stages in sequence.
- Incoming material inspection. Cells, BMS components and hardware are verified against the approved bill of materials before they are released to the production line.
- Cell sorting and matching. Cells are grouped by voltage, internal resistance and capacity so that every module is built from a matched set.
- Module assembly and laser welding. Sorted cells are assembled into modules, with busbars and terminals joined by laser welding to keep contact resistance consistent.
- BMS integration and configuration. The battery management system is installed and configured for the pack voltage, current and communication protocol of the target application.
- Enclosure assembly and thermal integration. Modules are mounted into the enclosure together with the thermal management design for the finished product.
- Electrical safety and functional verification. Packs are checked for electrical safety and functional behaviour, including protection thresholds and communication response.
- Aging, final inspection, packing and transport documentation. Finished packs are aged, inspected, packed and released with the documentation required to ship lithium batteries.
