Founded in 2017, CMX Battery designs and manufactures lithium battery systems from the cell up — for residential storage, commercial and industrial BESS, motive power and custom OEM programmes.

What we do

We build LiFePO4 cells, matched modules and finished battery systems — from a 5 kWh wall-mounted home unit to containerised C&I storage and 80 V forklift packs. Every product line is engineered in-house, not sourced and relabelled.

How we work

Prototypes are built on the same production line as volume orders, not in a separate lab. The certification path is identified before tooling, not after — and we state derated capacity up front instead of quoting a nameplate number.

About our Factory

A vertically integrated plant, not an assembly subcontractor.

CMX Battery is a high-tech green energy manufacturer dedicated to customised energy storage battery and solar system solutions. The company is headquartered in the HenDong Science Zone Building, Tangxia District, Guangdong Province, with an R&D base in Shenzhen.

Manufacturing runs from a 25,000 m² automated factory equipped with 2 fully automatic and 4 semi-automatic production lines, supported by more than 1,500 m² of office and innovation space, and carries an annual production capacity of 5.8 GWh. The plant serves a global market, exporting to more than 90 countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, the Philippines and Lebanon.

A team of 200+ employees, including 25 R&D technicians, covers lithium-ion module design, cost control and market positioning — the capabilities that decide whether a custom programme is deliverable at volume, and at what price.

Rack batteries and DC backup strings for data, telecom and industrial control rooms, built for float service.

Golf Cart, RV & Marine

Drop-in replacements and custom packs from 12 V to 72 V, tuned for vibration, humidity and temperature range.

Hybrid Inverters & Chargers

Matched inverter and charging hardware, so battery, BMS protocol and host system commission as one design.

Custom & Private Label OEM

From a load profile to a certified, branded pack — 4S to 16S+ smart BMS, CAN bus, RS485/Modbus and Bluetooth.

Cell chemistry is selected against your load profile and temperature range; the BMS protocol is matched to your host system; the certification path is identified before tooling. That is the difference between a fifteen-week programme and a thirty-week one.

Two stages decide almost everything about service life — and both happen before the battery ever meets a tester.

Cell grading and matching

Every cell is grade-matched and capacity- and internal-resistance-matched per batch. Mismatch is the leading cause of premature pack failure, and it stays invisible until the pack is in the field — which is why it is controlled here and not inspected at the end.

Assembly and process control

Welding, interconnection and enclosure assembly run under process control on the same lines that build volume orders. Prototypes and serial production share tooling, so what you approve is what ships.

CERTIFICATIONS & COMPLIANCE

Tested to the standards your market requires

Every cross-border lithium battery order ships with UN38.3 test summaries. Products are built to IEC 62619 for industrial Li-ion safety and to UL 1973, with UL 9540A thermal-propagation data for North American ESS approvals.

CB and CE / RoHS documentation covers Europe, CEC covers Australia and CEI-021 covers Italy. Manufacturing runs under ISO 9001, and outdoor enclosures are IP65. Market-specific marks outside this list are scoped per project as a costed line item.

Certification is the difference between a battery that ships and a battery that clears customs. What we cannot shortcut, we will tell you honestly.

From load profile to branded, certified pack

Five decisions, run in parallel rather than in sequence.

01 · Inquiry & load profile

Send a load profile or a mechanical drawing. We size against peak current, continuous current, duty cycle and ambient range — and state derated capacity up front.

02 · Design & specification

Chemistry, BMS, enclosure and thermal path are resolved together, with the certification route identified before tooling starts.

03 · Prototype on the real line

Prototypes are built on the same production line as volume orders, not in a separate lab — so the approved design is the design that ships.

04 · Certification & validation

Test summaries and compliance documentation are produced alongside the product, not bolted on afterwards.

05 · Volume production

Serial production runs under the same process control, with batch-level cell matching records retained against each order.
