The BMS is the component that turns a stack of cells into a safe, long-lived battery — EGbatt designs and integrates BMS for 12V/24V/48V LiFePO4 packs with balancing, protection and the communication your system expects.

Overview

A battery management system monitors every series group for voltage and temperature, balances cells so they age together, and disconnects the pack before over-charge, over-discharge, over-current or over-temperature can damage it. EGbatt supplies BMS for 12V, 24V and 48V LiFePO4 packs — standalone boards for custom builders and integrated units inside our modules — with passive or active balancing and CAN/RS485/Bluetooth communication so your inverter or EMS can see cell-level state. Choosing the right BMS is as important as choosing the cells; we specify it from your pack topology and load.

Frequently asked questions

Do your modules include a BMS?

Yes — every EGbatt module ships with an integrated BMS; standalone BMS boards are also available for custom builders.

What communication is supported?

CAN, RS485, Bluetooth and dry contact, depending on the model.

Passive or active balancing?

Passive is standard; active balancing is available for large series strings.

Can the BMS talk to my inverter?

If your inverter supports CAN or RS485 battery comms, we match the protocol.
