The 314Ah cell is the natural upgrade path when your enclosure cannot grow but your customer wants more kWh — verified on capacity, thermal behaviour and cycle life, with the same documentation package as our 280Ah line.

A 314Ah prismatic stores roughly 1,005Wh per cell at 3.2V nominal, about 12% more than a 280Ah in nearly the same footprint class. That extra energy density lets you hit a higher system kWh without re-tooling the enclosure, which is why it has become popular for high-density home packs and long-duration C&I storage. EGbatt validates every 314Ah batch on capacity, thermal behaviour and cycle life and ships the same per-cell report as our 280Ah line, so your certification work does not start over.

- Confirm the enclosure height tolerance and busbar reach — 314Ah is usually close to 280Ah but not identical.
- Match IR within 0.2 mΩ across the parallel group, same as for 280Ah, to avoid imbalance.
- Require the same per-cell report (capacity, IR, voltage, thickness) so QC is consistent with your 280Ah line.
- For container projects, allocate 314Ah production on a quarterly schedule — tell us your volume early.
