This LiFePO4 battery is commonly referred to as 48V, but its actual nominal voltage is 51.2V. Here’s a full breakdown for better understanding:
Battery Cell Configuration: Uses 16 Lithium LiFePO4 cells in series (16S)
Each cell has a nominal voltage of 3.2V, so 3.2V × 16S = 51.2V nominal
3. Why the 51.2V 300Ah rack battery Called 48Volt:
“48V” is an industry standard label that groups all battery systems with nominal voltages around 48V (typically 48V, 50.4V, or 51.2V). This helps simplify inverter and system compatibility. Most hybrid or off-grid inverters are labeled as “48V systems,” and this battery is 100% compatible with them.
